We're gravitating towards a sunny color palette and roomy silhouettes this season.
It's officially spring, which means the time has finally come for us to snatch up all the cropped, short-sleeved, toe-baring pieces that our bundled-up selves have been dreaming of all winter long. The season, we're gravitating towards a sunny color palette — think sweet pastel yellows and light corals — and roomy silhouettes, like wide-leg pants and flared mini dresses. We're also eyeing playful gold jewels, statement-making hair clips , simple, walkable slides and athleisure bits from Outdoor Voices , because we plan on doing a lot of things come April.
On the skin and makeup front, we're stocking up on glow-enhancing highlighters, shimmery eye shadow palettes that contain SPF , clean-smelling fragrances with stress-relieving capabilities and vitamin C serums.

Maria Bobila, Senior Editor Nike Air Max 720 Sneaker, $180, available here : I ventured into Manhattan on a weekend (a rarity for this Brooklyn resident) because I couldn't stop thinking about these sneakers. I love how sleek yet bold the silhouette is, and I plan to wear this a lot during the warmer months, since I usually opt out of sandals while walking through the city — for comfort and hygienic purposes.

Leanna Commins, Associate Editor AlexanderWang.t Halterneck crinkled-satin wide-leg jumpsuit, $395, available here : I firmly believe that you are not fully prepared for spring without a jumpsuit. The soft periwinkle color (I'm clearly a big fan of that color during this time of year) of this jumpsuit, along with its silky material makes it perfect for weathering both the warm days and cool evenings.

Dara Prant, Assistant Editor Simon Miller Senoia FItted Crop Cardigan, $264 (from $310), available here : If you haven't heard, prep — as in polos and cardigans — is making a comeback. Simon Miller (my go-to brand these days) is serving up a cool take on the buttoned-up collegiate trend for spring with this cropped, short-sleeve cardigan done in a bold hue, and I'm more than here for it.
