A Very Merry Mix-up starring Alicia Witt (Alice) and Mark Wiebe (Matt) kicks off Christmas in July. They meet at the airport through some crazy events and mistaken identity and wind up together at his family’s home during the holidays until Alice realizes she’s at the wrong house.

After returning home for Christmas, this ER doctor learns that her dad is retiring from his practice. While home, she reunites with her high school boyfriend and now has to decide if she wants to stay to take over her dad’s medical practice.

Starring Jill Wagner (Hannah) and Wes Brown (Jake). Hannah has been charged with closing the sale of Aunt Sally’s Christmas Cookie Company. Unfortunately this means shutting down the factory, which employees many of the town’s residents. Jake, the factory owner, fights to keep the factory from being moved and to save his home town.

Starring Taylor Cole (Jessica) and Michael Rady (Matt). The town of Homestead is known for its over-the-top Christmas decorations and is the perfect backdrop for a new film being shot with a world-famous actress and her famous actor boyfriend. While she finds herself at odds with the town’s mayor and innkeeper (Matt), she also learns a lot about Christmas spirit from him, his daughter, and the people of Homestead.

Starring Candace Cameron Bure (Stephanie), Jesse Hutch (Brady), and Alan Thicke (Ted). Family-owned Snow Valley Lodge is sold to conglomerate Falcon Resorts to be turned into a trendy ski resort. Falcon’s owner, Ted Beck, wants to give his daughter (Stephanie) a shot at presenting him ideas of how to turn this family lodge into a destination for a much younger crowd. But first she has to get past Brady, the owner’s son and guide.

Starring Briana Evigan (Katie), Paul Campbell (Jack), and Greg Evigan (George). Katie (a royal princess) is in the city on official business when she decides to sneak out and do some sightseeing on her own. After an unfortunate mishap, Jack is at the right place at the right time and comes to her rescue. They spend the next couple of days together enjoying the holidays before he realizes her true identity.

Starring Shenae Grimes-Beech (Riley) and Steve Lund (Williams). Via mistaken identity, Riley gets her dream job but learns the owner is closing one of his factories right before Christmas which would affect the entire town’s economy. Riley has to figure out a way to change his mind before he learns that she wasn’t the person he hired.

Starring Kristin Davis (Eve), Eric McCormack (Max), and Shirley MacLaine (Pearl). Eve, a workaholic who never makes time for Christmas, family or friends, winds up in Heaven after her unfortunate death. In Heaven she is paired up with Pearl who will guide her in her Angel in Training. She’s given a difficult case involving Max and his daughter and has to figure out a way to help him out of his despair without becoming too involved.
Just when we can't endure another day of this sweltering, muggy, sticky heat, Hallmark swoops in to cool us off with snowballs, ice skating, sledding, and sweet holiday romantic movies. Once again, Hallmark Channel is bringing us Christmas in July with non-stop holiday movies for one whole week. It is also their time to announce the 2017 Christmas Keepsake Ornaments. Enjoy some of your favorites and get a sneak peek at an all-new movie, The Christmas Cure. They'll also tease us with a sampling (A Song for Christmas; Marry Me at Christmas; Christmas in the Air; and Christmas Festival of Ice) of their 32 brand-new holiday movies for 2017 which you can find on either the Hallmark Channel or Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. All of the new movies, along with our old favorites, will be aired in Hallmark's Countdown to Christmas which begins October 27. To add to the Christmas in July festivities, Hallmark has come up with some fun activities that includes making frozen hot chocolate popsicles or hosting a Christmas in July movie night complete with sugar cookie decorating. If you know me, you know that I love Hallmark movies year-round but I especially enjoy the Christmas specials. (And yes, some folks think I'm a little crazy for it.) My husband, Kevin, even jokes that I've seen them all "a hundred times." However, on many occasions, he'll walk through the room and get caught up in the storyline and finishes it with me.
