For the female writers of Late Night, the Harvey Weinstein allegations are anything but shocking.

Ever since the New York Times published a report last week detailing numerous sexual harassment allegations against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, celebrities have come forward to express their disgust at the news.

And on Monday night, three female writers from Late Night With Seth Meyers appeared on the show to discuss their own reactions, which were equal parts funny and heart-wrenching.

To start, the women asked Meyers how he felt after he heard the news, to which he said, "I was disgusted and shocked." The writers replied: "I was disgusted and not shocked," "I was disgusted and shocked that it took this long to become a story," and "I was disgusted and shocked that people were shocked."

Then, after applauding the women who chose to go on record about Weinstein, the writers played a montage of female Late Night staffers reading Weinstein's apology. One woman threw her phone in the garbage, one tossed her laptop out the window, a number of them spit out their water in surprise and one repeatedly threw plates on the floor.
