Fergie’s Blue Peekaboo Lowlights Will Send You Running Straight to the Salon

Fergie has been quite the hair chameleon as of late, trying on shades of tangerine, silver platinum, and even dark brunette on for size since her split from husband Josh Duhamel. Her latest look, however, may have a *bit* more staying power, since it just so happens to be the real deal.

The songstress took to Instagram to show off a brand new hue so subtle, it could almost blend into the asymmetrical sequined Sally LaPointe mini she rocked on the blue carpet for her new show, The Four.

Look closer, however, and you’ll spot the peekaboo blue (“Admiral navy,” to be exact), lowlights she added poking out from beneath her sleek blonde strands.

The look came courtesy of hair guru George Papanikolas, who used Matrix’s newest SOCOLOR permanent color collection, Cult, (available come June, according to InStyle), which lasts for for up to 30 washes.

He gave us a glimpse at the behind-the-scenes hair action, posting a video of the “You Already Know” singer primping with some Matrix Style Link Perfect Style Fixer Finishing Spray ($18) before hitting the stage of her new FOX hit.

With a teasing caption that promised “More fun looks” on the way, we’ve got a sneaking suspicion that Fergie just may make like Mel B. did on America’s Got Talent, giving us all the reason we’d ever need to watch the show with her ever-changing hairdos.

We can’t wait to see what she pulls off next week!
