It's easy to get stuck in the same breakfast routine. For me, it comes in phases. Last summer, it was yogurt and granola, and this winter has been all about oatmeal.
No matter how I start my day, I almost always pair it with an apple. One of the only fruits that's good year 'round, it provides the refreshing, juicy crunch I tend to crave in the morning.
These apple nachos are a fun twist on your usual apple slices + peanut butter snack, and endlessly versatile. We topped ours with berries, dried fruit, and graham crackers and drizzled the whole thing with peanut butter and honey. Feel free to make it your own with different cereals or granola and even different nut butters like almond or cashew.
