The First Footage of Clare Crawley Filming 'The Bachelorette' Is Here and It's Fully Surreal
Footage just dropped of Clare Crawley filming her season of The Bachelorette.
The entire crew is wearing masks—giving audiences a glimpse of what filming the show during coronavirus looks like.
Wondering what Clare Crawley's upcoming season of The Bachelorette is going to look like? Freakin' weird, thats what. ABC's long-running reality show just started filming Clare's season after coronavirus-related production delays, and things already seem different—at least judging from this The Daily Mail video. For one, the entire crew is wearing masks and trying to maintain social distance as Clare (who's mask-less) runs toward the camera for what I can only assume is her intro video?
Truly surreal! And as a reminder, The Bachelorette is taking all kinds of precautions amid the global pandemic—starting with filming in just one location: La Quinta Resort & Club in California. Clare and her guys won't leave the resort at all, and on top of that, everyone's being regularly tested for coronavirus. According to Reality Steve, the entire production (meaning cast + crew) were tested upon arrival, quarantined for a full week, and then will continue to be tested at least every third day—if not more frequently.
These type of measures make a lot of sense considering physical intimacy is such a huge part of the show, so here's to hoping everyone stays safe!
