The First Photo of Katherine Schwarzenegger’s Wedding Dress is Stunning
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are officially married! The wedding surprised fans, who were under the impression that the couple weren’t planning to marry until winter. So far the couple hasn’t shared any official photos from the Saturday celebration, but paparazzi caught glimpses of the wedding, including Schwarzenegger’s dress.
The bride wore a full white gown, needing the help of a few people to carry her train, and a sheer veil. As for the wedding itself, the event was an intimate gathering, which included Schwarzenegger’s parents, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, and Chris Pratt’s former Parks and Recreation co-star Rob Lowe.
“The venue is beautiful. Lots of flowers and greenery everywhere. It’s a very romantic setting for a wedding,” a source told People.
“They are using only local food. It’s a lot of fresh vegetables. They didn’t want the menu to be too heavy, or rich. It’s more of a light summer menu,” the insider added. “For dessert, there are lighter options as well like raspberries, blueberries and red currant.”
The couple has had a whirlwind romance. Rumors of Pratt and Schwarzenegger’s relationship started last June and they made in Instagram official last December in honor of her 29th birthday. They got engaged the following month.
“The couple got engaged quick but everyone around them saw it coming," a source told Entertainment Tonight at the time. "They really are a great couple that have a solid foundation. Chris had the approval of the family and everyone is excited for their union."
