In September, Troy Gentry, one half of the country duo Montgomery Gentry, was killed in a tragic helicopter crash at the age of 50. Gentry and his musical partner, Eddie Montgomery, had been working on a new album called Here's to You-the first song from which was unveiled posthumously at Gentry's memorial service. And today, the sole surviving member announced an emotional return to the stage with a Montgomery Gentry tour.

The "Here's to You" tour will honor the band's 20th anniversary-and it will be Montgomery's first time on the road without his other half.

"I'm anxious to get back out on the road and play some new music for our friends and fans," Montgomery said in a press release. "Next year marks the 20th anniversary of our band-we've got lots to celebrate and look forward to in 2018."

Although the album is slated for release on February 2, 2018, the tour kicks off January 19, 2018 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where Montgomery will serve as a supporting act for Alabama, and ends on September 15, 2018 at Boots and Brews in Ventura, California. The sets will include the band's hits from the last two decades as well as new material.
