Fitness in the Parks kicks off 13th year with over 500 classes

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Independent Health and the YMCA are hosting their 13th year of Fitness in the Parks from June 3 through Aug. 31.

The program offers over 500 free outdoor fitness classes led by certified YMCA instructors at 26 parks throughout Western New York, according to their website.

People of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to join the classes, which include yoga, Zumba, circuit training, meditation and more.

Parking is free and registration is not required.

No classes will be held on July 4.
