Five of Meghan Markle's Friends Just Gave a Shocking Anonymous Interview
In a super surprising turn of events, five of Meghan Markle's closest friends have given an anonymous interview to People Magazine, vocalizing their concern for The Duchess amid all the negative press she's recently endured.
"Meg has silently sat back and endured the lies and untruths," one friend and former costar says. "We worry about what this is doing to her and the baby. It’s wrong to put anyone under this level of emotional trauma, let alone when they’re pregnant."
Per Good Morning America, the friends also open up about Meghan's relationship with her estranged dad Thomas, saying she wrote him a letter post-wedding saying "I'm so heartbroken, I love you. I have one father. Please stop victimizing me through the media so we can repair our relationship." They also claim that Thomas responded by asking for a photo opp with her. "He’s never called; he’s never texted," says a friend. "It’s super-painful."
GMA also reveals that Meghan's friends weighed in on her so-called feud with Kate Middleton in People Magazine, saying the rumors are entirely untrue and have "upset Meghan."
Her nearest and dearest also gave some insight into The Duchess' private life at home with Prince Harry, saying "We’ve all been to their cottage. It’s small and she’s made it cozy, but the perception of their lifestyle and the reality are two different things. Meg cooks for herself and Harry every single day.”
Another friend adds, "We had a couple of days together recently. Her husband was out of town on work. In the room she made up for me, there was a candle lit by the bed, slippers and a robe. We were the only two in the house. It was our time. She made the most lovely meals. She made tea every day. It was raining and muddy outside, so the dogs got all dirty, and she’s wiping them off with towels. How much she loves her animals, how much she loves her friends, how much she loves feeding you, taking care of you-none of that has changed."
