Flaky Cheesy Puff Pastry Twists Recipe Is An Elegant Appetizer or Any Time Snack
I always keep a box of frozen puff pastry on hand. You can pair it with just about anything to create a tasty appetizer, side dish or even dessert. Take this Cheesy Puff Pastry Twists recipe. The twists might look fancy — and they are impressive! But the recipe comes together in a snap with just four ingredients. And while it’s easy to make on a week night, it's special enough for company.
Our recipe starts with a half sheet of dough to serve 2, but it's a cinch to double. We sandwich sharp cheddar and dried rosemary between dough strips and brush with egg before baking. The egg helps hold the twists together plus, it ensures they bake up beautifully golden brown. Feel free to sub in any kind of melty cheese and herbs you have on hand. Give 'em a try then let us know what you think.
