Florence Pugh's Abs Are Straight Fire in a Bra Top in These New Photos
Florence Pugh is super sculpted in a new bra top and skirt set that she wore while promoting her new movie, The Wonder.
The actress, 26, is all about body positivity and has made her stance on this very clear over the years.
On the fitness front, Florence is willing to go all in for her acting roles, including learning kickboxing and taking CrossFit classes.
Florence Pugh has moved on from the dramafest that came along with the release of her movie, Don’t Worry, Darling, earlier this fall, and she's now focused on her new movie, The Wonder. Naturally, Flo is bringing her fashion A-game with her to her latest movie promo events.
The 26-year-old actress hit up an event to promote her psychological thriller in Hollywood in the ultimate cool-girl look. Flo worked a black bra top and matching black pencil skirt with mesh and floor-length fringe that showed off her seriously toned abs.
In case you missed it, here are some photos from the event, where you can see Flo cozying up with actress Julia Garner and showing off her core:
Of course, Florence has made it more than clear that she wears what she loves and doesn’t really give a flying fig what other people think of her body. Back in July, she spoke out after people had a strong reaction to a Valentino gown she wore where she freed the nipple, writing on Instagram, “I’ve come to terms with the intricacies of my body that make me, me. I’m happy with all of the ‘flaws’ that I couldn’t bear to look at when I was 14.”
Florence ~also~ spoke with Glamour UK about body positivity, noting that she realized early on in her career that she had zero interest in taking acting gigs that would require her to lose weight. As she suggested in her Instagram post about that (stunning) dress, it helped her “overcome my issues with my body at such an early age.”
Florence hasn’t said a lot about how she stays so fit, but she’s shared little behind-the-scenes snippets on social media, including this Instagram post that featured a yoga mat and kettlebell in the grass next to a dog and…chicken. “I was ambushed,” she joked in the caption. “Houdini, Albert and Flo tried working out together..????.”
Naturally, Florence is a superhero and she told Glamour UK that she does a lot of her own stunts for her role as Black Widow in several Marvel movies. “I really enjoy stunts,” she said. “I wanted to do as many stunts, so straight away I learnt kickboxing and knife training.”
For her upcoming role as Paige WWE in Fighting with My Family, Florence shared online that she did CrossFit for six weeks, which was heavy on burpees. Florence said CrossFit made her feel “solid and secure” but she also noted that the training was “difficult.”
At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Florence dropped a few Instagram Story videos where she encouraged followers to dance. “Go shake your limbs and bum!” she wrote over one, per Glamour UK. BTW, cardio dance is a great way to get your heart rate up and work up a sweat.
Florence has also urged people to exercise and eat well. “We have to be eating good,” she told Glamour. “I'm someone that my whole day is based around lunch, dinner, what I'm gonna cook, what I'm gonna eat."
FWIW, Florence currently points out in her Instagram profile that “tzatziki goes with everything” (truth!) and that she “occasionally cooks.” But Flo told Elle that she loves to cook. “Genuinely, my therapeutic thing is chopping and cooking and stirring and tasting,” she shared.
Get it, Flo!
