'Riverdale' Stars and Other Celebrities React to News of Luke Perry's Stroke

Luke Perry, known for his roles on Beverly Hills: 90210 and Riverdale, is currently in the hospital following a massive stroke on Wednesday. According to reports, paramedics responded to the actor's home in Sherman Oaks, California, around 9:40 in the morning, and rushed him to a Los Angeles hospital.

As the news of Perry's condition spread on Thursday, the actor's current and former co-stars took to social media to send him their best wishes. Among them were Ian Ziering and Shannen Doherty, who both starred alongside Perry in 90210. Kristy Swanson, who appeared with Perry in 1992's Buffy the Vampire Slayer, also shared a moving reaction.

Here are the thoughtful messages Riverdale stars and other celebrities are sharing about Luke Perry.

Lili Reinhart, who plays Betty on Riverdale, shared a photo of her and Perry on Instagram "Thinking of you, Luke. And praying for your safe recovery," she wrote.

Skeet Ulrich, who plays FP Jones on Riverdale, wrote on Instagram: "Waiting for ya brotha!! Someone has to man the grill for me ??????"

Marisol Nichols, aka Riverdale's Hermione Lodge, wrote on Instagram: "wait..someone please tell me what happened..I’m kinda scared."

Hayley Law, who plays Valerie Brown on Riverdale, tweeted: "Luke Perry. I’m praying for you. Asking god to be with you and help you get through this ?? to help you recover stronger ??"

Lou Diamond Phillips, who appeared with Perry in Angel and the Bad Man, tweeted: "Terribly concerned for my old friend Luke Perry, currently hospitalized. Sending healing thoughts and prayers for strength. Please send some Love his way."
