Their reunion is just so beautiful!

Science has officially brought us one of the greatest things – dog DNA testing. Humans have been doing this for a while now. DNA tests can reveal people’s backgrounds and even reunite long-lost family members. And now, dogs can have the same experience.

TikTok user @embarkvet, a dog DNA company, posted a clip about a foster dog named Vardis. Vardis’ first foster family decided to use Embark Vet. Then over a year later, they received a surprise email. It was Vardis’ sister and littermate! The recent reunion between the two dogs is everything!

O.M.G. This is such an amazing story! We are so, SO happy that Vardis and Brunch have been reunited. And you can just tell they knew who each other was at the first glance. That tail doesn’t lie!

Apparently, several other TikTokers have done this and used Embark Vet before. We’re clearly behind! “We JUST did this last weekend – connected 3 young littermates through Embark,” said @curlesandqueued. Our hearts! We think this is such a great idea, especially for those rescue dogs in which you don’t know what breed they are.

“Brunch’s momma here! Thanks, Embark for helping us find her family! Vardis is SUCH a sweet boy and I know he will find his forever home soon – he is so deserving!!” wrote @kellyannhaggerty. Yes! If you’re interested in adopting Vardis, please visit the Chicago-based One Tail at a Time website. Just think of how many playdates you’ll have with Vardis as your fur baby!
