We Found Marie Kondo's Storage Boxes From 'Tidying Up'

Amanda Garrity

1 of 7

Ironically, Marie Kondo's decluttering process (officially called the KonMari Method) requires you to buy more stuff - storage boxes, actually. Even though she stresses the importance of her techniques rather than stockpiling methods, we can't help but notice the pretty boxes she uses on "Tidying Up with Marie Kondo." They're actually one of her own creations: The Hikidashi Box Set, available in four Japanese-inspired patterns, sells - er, sold - for $89. The six-piece sets have been sold out since they were released last summer.

Luckily, Amazon and The Container Store sell similar styles. Check out these affordable storage box alternatives and start tidying ASAP.

Score a very similar set for just $15 on Amazon.
