Four Seasons Dubai Middle Eastern Celebration

I've seen it written so many times...you're wedding is about you. In face, I'm pretty sure I've written that very saying myself a dozen or so times on Style Me Pretty. But you know what? It's only half true. While yes, your wedding is a celebration of you and your beautiful relationship and that should be at the helm of so many of your decisions, your wedding is also about the people that make you...YOU. Your friends, your families coming together, your place within your own beautiful life and the people that surround it. And this celebration - planned by The Purple Chair and photographed by Maria Sundin - gets to the very heart of why family and friends are such an integral part of your big day. And don't miss the GOR.GEOUS. invitations by Pret-A-Papier. Stunning (to say the least).

The beautiful Persian bride and groom, had their heart set out on a classic timeless wedding. With Dubai as their base, a melting pot of culture and tradition, they chose to keep the décor feminine and soft. The Four Seasons hotel in Dubai was the beautiful backdrop for their celebration. The guests dined in the lovely lush gardens of the newly opened hotel overlooking the beach.

Prêt à Papier created a stunning invitation suite for the couple that captured the floral and feminine theme perfectly. The invitations were in a delicate blush tone, with off-white roses and green foliage. The Main invitation was coupled with an information card detailing dress codes, timing and other social details. The couple had their monogram created in Arabic calligraphy and chose a beautiful Persian font for the text. Again, a combination of English and Arabic hinted at the blended ceremony.

We loved the vibe of this affair. The couple was all about their entourage, their friends. They both are truly the happiest when surrounded by their closest friends and likewise, it was their friends that brought as much to this day as they did. During the couple photos, the whole bridal party gave so much positive energy with Persian singing in the background. The atmosphere was amazing.

In the Middle East, the couple doesn't have a traditional western ceremony where you walk down the aisle, but rather make a grand entrance during the dinner reception when all guests have arrived. For this beautiful couple's wedding, all of their friends stayed with them until the entrance and they all entered together as one big happy entourage.

The Purple Chair wedding planning company worked closely with the couple to design a romantic intimate setup and bring their ideas to life. Sparkling candle lights filled the dinner tables to create this romantic atmosphere and lush flowers were used for a rich garden look. The palette was a romantic white and green combination adorned with crystal accessories and off-white accents. Edison bulbs lights hung above the dinner tables which created a dreamy, ethereal effect.

Maria Sundin beautifully captured the wedding details and unforgettable moments shared by family and friends.
