Free admission to the Mobile Museum of Art for Makers Market, Open House
MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Museum-goers can soon get free admission as the Mobile Museum of Art is getting ready to host its annual Makers Market & Open House.

The event, which will feature live music, food trucks, art activities, and free admission to the museum, is scheduled for Saturday, June 8, from 3 to 6 p.m.

“MMofA’s Makers Market and Open House is a signature event for families and visitors of all ages that officially kicks off the summer,” Executive Director Jon Carfagno said. “From hands-on activities to touring the galleries, to supporting local entrepreneurs, you don’t want to miss the celebration of creativity and community.”

Attendees to the event will be able to purchase a variety of handmade items from vendors, pick up tasty treats from food trucks, visit the Museum School and get creative with fun activities, and check out MMofA’s special exhibits.
