Free maternal health classes offered through St. Joseph County Department of Health
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY — The St. Joseph County Department of Health is offering a series of free maternal health classes.
Their newly launched EMBER — Empowering Moms and Babies through Education and Resilience — initiative provides free maternal health classes for every stage of pregnancy, from the first trimester through postpartum, at Beacon Resource Center every Tuesday. EMBER also offers a biweekly peer support group to openly discuss life after childbirth.
The first class starts Sept. 10 and lasts through Dec. 17.
