Free People Just Dropped Three All-Natural Fragrances, and They're Perfect for Your Fall Adventures
The temperature has dropped, which means it's officially fall! Cue the closet switch-aka bring out your sweaters, coats, and boots-and don't forget to swap your summer scents for ones that'll keep you warm this season.
Speaking of fragrance, some new ones to add into your mix? Free People's first-ever all-natural fragrance line called 1809, which consists of three spritzes and is totally free of synthetic ingredients, harsh chemicals, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, and colorants. Instead, the trio is blended with Brazilian sugar cane alcohol, is 100 percent cruelty-free and vegan, and is dermatologist- and allergy-tested. Bonus: All three scents have hints of an earthy, musky aroma, yet are lighter on than a cologne, are less than $30, and have a nostalgic feel about them as they're reminiscent of certain familiar places. Basically, Free People wants to transport you with natural perfume. For example:
For when you're missing summer beach days...
1809's S (Surf) is meant to remind you of the sea and the first glimpse of summer-without smelling like sunscreen-in case you're already missing your bikini-clad days. And while this scent is made with fruity and floral notes, the base of vanilla and Brazilian tonka bean make this perfume wearable throughout all four seasons.
For when you're yearning for a yoga retreat...
Z (Zen) is an exotic, woodsy blend of Australian eucalyptus, Sandalwood Pacific, Paraguayan guaiac wood, Indonesian patchouli, and Brazilian tonka bean. The notes in this particular scent are inspired by meditation, zen (of course), and grounding moments.
For when you'd rather be outdoors...
C (Camp) from the 1809 collection is perfect for anyone stuck in the city, but really really wants to go hiking and see the leaves change color. A whiff of this will definitely remind you of clean, crisp air, and mossy trails thanks to its dominantly spicy blend of star anise, Moroccan cedar wood, and Haitian vetiver with just a hint of fresh watermelon.
