Seal Is Revealed as the Leopard on 'The Masked Singer'
Season 2 of The Masked Singer includes an entirely different crew of wacky costumes, purposefully cryptic clues, and a whole lot of interesting guesses from judge Ken Jeong. But unlike last season, the hints are a lot more challenging, according to showrunner Izzie Pick Ibarra. "It’s a tricky balance," she explains to GoodHousekeeping.com. "We try to give a good six to eight clues about somebody in some shape or form every episode.”
So, who are the masked celebrities this time around? Meet the fall 2019 cast of The Masked Singer and get a list of the key clues that have been revealed:
The Tree
The Masked Singer: Ana Gasteyer
Clues:
1) The Tree has a big family who comes to the set often, all wearing masks to hide their identity.
2) The Tree talks about her "delicious" performances.
3) The Tree "loves getting dolled up."
4) The Tree has a connection to the number 30.
The Leopard
The Masked Singer: Seal
Clues:
1) "Spotted with the President."
2) Costume was designed to hide their "natural silhouette."
3) This masked singer "wasn't always wanted," and a clue reel showed him being dropped off at doorstep as a baby. (Note: The door showed the number 1963.)
4) At one time, "no one could catch" the Leopard, but now "all everyone wants to talk about is the celebrity aspect."
The Thingamajig
The Masked Singer: Victor Oladipo
Clues:
1) Thingamajig stands at 7 feet tall.
2) The creature called their show their "Thingdom."
3) Thingamajig says, "Don't call me Chewbacca, though we do celebrate together."
4) The Thingamajig pulled out a pair of sneakers and had a cupcake with the number 4 on it.
The Butterfly
The Masked Singer: Michelle Williams
Clues:
1) “Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.”
2) “I’m flying high and ready to shake up the competition.”
3) “I just pray I don’t fall over."
4) The Butterfly has "a lot of soul in these wings."
5) She used to call the city of London home.
6) A lot of references to religion.
The Purple Flower
The Masked Singer: Patti LaBelle
Clues:
1) The number 314 is significant.
2) "She's beauty and she's grace."
3) The Purple Flower has dabbled in every field from "cooking to clothing to craft" and says this show will help her "branch out yet again."
4) She won't even go to the grocery store without "lipstick and pumps on."
The Ladybug
The Masked Singer: Kelly Osbourne
Clues:
1) The Ladybug says, "After a lifetime of drama, I can really use a little love and a lot of luck."
2) The insect was born into the limelight and had to keep track of "every piece of gossip and family feud."
3) Had a clue package that included photos of a turkey leg, pumpkin, bridge, stuffed puppy toy, gavel, scorpion, skull, police car, and baseball bat.
The Penguin
The Masked Singer: Sherri Shepherd
Clues:
1) Changes their hairstyle often.
2) The Penguin "might be cold as ice, but I'm bringing the heat."
3) The Penguin's video package included protestors (one sign read "I'm Not Your Secretary"). The bird is "leading the march."
4) The Penguin had a hit list that read "classroom bully, comedy club owner, Hollywood casting director, exes, the press," and "myself."
The Black Widow
The Masked Singer: Raven-Symoné
Clues:
1) "I'm here to call my way to the top and spin a web around the competition."
2) "You can guess my identity all you want, but I'm going to leave you hanging by a thread until the very end."
3) The Black Widow was shown on a tarot card with an hour glass on its back during a video package.
4) The Black Widow says "welcome to my empire."
5) The eight-legged insect has a connection to a peach.
The Skeleton
The Masked Singer: Paul Shaffer
Clues:
1) A gravestone with the numbers 4-2-6-1 written on it.
2) The Skeleton has been "around the block a few times," but is "far from dead."
3) The Skeleton says "party on, dude" and is "tired of playing second fiddle."
4) Talked about "orchestrating" those around him.
The Eagle
The Masked Singer: Dr. Drew Pinsky
Clues:
1) "The competition will be saluting me."
2) The rock star wardrobe was designed by the celebrity.
3) "If you know an eagle's body temperature, you'll be hot on my tail."
4) The Eagle lost a parent and endured a health scare.
5) There were references made to a radio station.
REVEALED: The Panda
The Masked Singer: Laila Ali
Clues:
1) The Panda always admired "papa bear's humble strength."
2) There was a bee, cookbook, and books about South Africa and "Going Pro."
3) The Panda talked about "fighting for her dreams" and said the competition "will be no match for her."
REVEALED: The Egg
The Masked Singer: Johnny Weir
Clues:
1) The Egg doesn't "belong with bacon."
2) He works hard for "the first and last vowels of the alphabet."
REVEALED: The Ice Cream
The Masked Singer: Ninja
Clues:
1) The Ice Cream is "sweet and made of dairy, and lives for half of February."
2) The Ice Cream knows karate.
3) The Ice Cream "performs in front of millions."
The Fox
