Who Is Gabriel from 'Claim to Fame' Related To?: An Investigation
Step aside Sherlock Holmes! This season, I will be doing my darnedest to figure out the secret identities of the Claim to Fame contestants. The show's premise is simple enough: twelve contestants enter a Hollywood mansion, each is related to a A-list celebrity. The person who can keep their relative's identity a secret for the longest wins!

As I'm watching along each week, I'll be attempting to piece together the clues and determine the relative of each contestant, cataloging the information we learn along the way. Spoilers for all episodes that have aired. Here's everything we have learned about Gabriel and my predictions:
Who is Gabriel's Claim to Fame celebrity relative?
Episode 2 clues
The only new clue that we got regarding Gabriel's relative this episode is that they were born in San Diego, California. This is unlikely to help the contestants on the show, but it does certainly narrow the pool for us.
Episode 1 clues
Two Truths and a Lie:
Relative: Brother (Truth)
Occupation: Athlete (Lie)
Award: NAACP Award (Truth)
Gabriel reveals in the episode that he is lying about his relative being an athlete which means we're looking for a brother who has won an NAACP Award. Gabriel also says that he "looks nothing like his celebrity relative," so that's something interesting to keep an eye out for.

The other contestants' best guess
No one specific, but they have mentioned that the relative could possibly be a TV host of some kind.
Parade's prediction for celebrity relative
Nick Cannon
The San Diego clue made my job pretty easy. All I had to do was cross reference a list of people who were born in San Diego with those who have won NAACP Awards and the pool is basically just Nick Cannon. There is an outside chance, however, that it could also be RuPaul. Ru has been nominated for an NAACP Award and would better fit Gabriel's statement last week that he looks nothing like his relative.
Claim to Fame airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
