There’s no shortage of heartwarming moments when it comes to Gabrielle Union gushing over her 11-month-old daughter, Kaavia James. After a slew of adorable Halloween posts, the America’s Got Talent star took to Instagram to post a fresh-faced photo with her baby—and as always, we’re jealous of her makeup-free glow.

“Melanin Drops ????????♀? @kaaviajames ??” she captioned the mother-daughter photo, poking fun at Kaavia’s outfit. Union herself looks relaxed and happy—white fluffy robe and all!

Fans flooded the comments with support. “A beautiful queen and her adorable princess” one person wrote. “That third picture is so your face! What a cute little pumpkin pop! ??” another commenter added, while others noted that Kaavia looked “just like her daddy” (aka former pro basketball player Dwyane Wade).

This isn’t the first time Union has given the world a glimpse of her relationship with Kaavia. In August, she shared a series of hilarious photos, where they clearly had a fun time goofing off together. “When she smiles, I feel unstoppable,” Union wrote in the caption. Again, the two are everything together (and Union proves that she continues to stun without a drop of makeup at 47 years old).

Still, the journey to motherhood hasn’t always been easy for her. After experiencing multiple miscarriages, unsuccessful IVF treatments, and being diagnosed with adenomyosis (a painful disorder that has been associated with infertility), Union felt like her body was a “prisoner of trying to get pregnant,” she revealed in in her memoir, We’re Going to Need More Wine, per People.

But she never gave up hope alongside Wade. In a 2018 Instagram post, Union shared her most vulnerable self right before embracing Kaavia via surrogate as a possibility. “For lots of people/families who have been on their own unique fertility/family creation journey, hope can feel like a cruel joke that plays on repeat,” she wrote. “You stop letting yourself get excited and you don’t dare utter any updates. You carry it all. It can feel isolating and depressing. You wonder if you are defective. You are not. You wonder if you are worthy. You are. You feel you feel you feeeeeel. You are not alone. You are loved and worthy and every feeling is real and understood. On this night, we allowed ourselves to stop holding our breath out of fear. We still had 4 months to go. We had never been this close.”

Now, baby Kaavia is clearly thriving—and Union has never looked happier with her little one. Name a more iconic duo, we’ll wait!
