The Game of Life: Quarter Life Crisis Edition Is So on Point It Hurts
The traditional version of The Game of Life consists of breezing through college, having your pick at a career, and painlessly giving birth to as many children as you desire - yet, somehow, it fails to mention the crippling student loan debt, prolonged job-search process, and not even being able to get a text back from a Tinder date. Hasbro must have heard our cries, because they are welcoming The Game of Life: Quarter Life Crisis edition.
If you’re in your 20s or 30s, the game will especially speak to you. You’ll face adult challenges as you make your way through the game, such as financial burdens, relationship woes, and other things that are probably the reasons behind why you choose to stay home and watch Netflix all day instead of being social.
The new Game of Life edition comes from a slew of parody versions of popular Hasbro board games. Sorry! has become Sorry! Not Sorry!, Operation has become Botched Operation, Mystery Date has become Mystery Date: Catfished, and Clue has become Clue: What Happened Last Night? Los in Vegas.
These $20 parody games are expected to be released on Oct. 1 as an exclusive to Target, according to POPSUGAR.
