'Game of Thrones' star Lena Headey and her co-stars fire back at troll who dissed her for not wearing makeup
If there’s one thing Game of Thrones fans know, it’s that coming after Cersei Lannister is a really bad idea.
Apparently the same is true of the woman who plays her, Lena Headey. The 45-year-old actress posted a video on Instagram earlier this week to update fans about her new film, Fighting With My Family. But one follower was more fixated on Headey’s makeup-free appearance.

“Don’t record yourself without makeup again please,” one GoT viewer commented of the video, which was filmed while Headey was on a flight.
Unlike her TV character, Headey was not about to be publicly shamed.
“I shall continue to not wear makeup,” she shot back, sharing a screenshot of the insulting comment on Instagram. “Go f*** yourself.”

Headey’s GoT co-stars have her back, however.
“PREACH BEAUTIFUL WOMAN,” Emilia Clarke responded, while Carice van Houten wrote, “I get that too. F*** that.”
Fans are also defending the star against the troll.
“I wished I looked that good without makeup!” one wrote. “Ya effing rock!”
“You can only feel pity for keyboard trolls,” added actress Victoria Smurfit, who called Headey a “goddess.”
“Come on, treat them like the High Sparrow,” another commenter joked.
“Hodor would never say that,” a fan wrote, noting that the troll’s account is named for the beloved GoT character. “They disgraced his name.”
Where’s a big bell and a woman chanting “shame” when you need them?
