Ganni will make its off calendar Paris Fashion Week debut on Sept. 24 with a spring 2025 collection.
“Ganni has established itself globally, and as we enter our next chapter of growth, showcasing in Paris is a natural evolution for our brand equity and scale,” said Laura du Rusquec, Ganni’s chief executive officer, who joined in April from Balenciaga, where she was deputy CEO.
“Paris offers an unparalleled global platform, and we are excited to present our spring 2025 collection, along with our ongoing vision and commitment to responsibility in the fashion industry,” she added.
Despite sitting out Copenhagen Fashion Week, Ganni has been boosting the city’s talent by supporting them financially.
It’s clear that the brand is trying to enter a more high-end market by presenting at the same time as Paris Fashion Week.
Du Rusquec succeeded Andrea Baldo, who had been Ganni’s CEO since 2018.
“I am thrilled to join Ganni at such a pivotal time and to continue building on the brand’s strong foundation. Ganni’s commitment to innovation, sustainability and their progressive approach to luxury is exactly what the future of fashion needs. I look forward to leading the talented team toward new heights and further global expansion,” du Rusquec said when she joined the brand.
At Ganni, Baldo managed to register annual double-digit growth and developed the brand’s retail presence before stepping down.
Now it’s du Rusquec’s responsibility to take it to new heights.
