Garth Brooks Pens Sweetest Birthday Tribute to Wife Trisha Yearwood
Garth Brooks expressed his love for wife Trisha Yearwood in a sweet birthday message shared on social media.
On Sept. 19, the country star made sure to write his celebratory note on both Instagram and Twitter, gushing over the fellow singer.
In the Instagram version of his post, the 61-year-old wrote, "Join us in wishing a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the Queen @TrishaYearwood!!!! To the woman who brings inspiration, comfort, kindness and love into our hearts every day of the year, today we celebrate YOU!"
His message continued, "The world is a better place with you in it —- and country music and what's on our tables wouldn't be the same without you!!!"
He paired the note with photos of himself with the birthday girl, including a heartwarming backstage photo of the two walking while holding hands.
Fans and fellow artists happily complied in the comments, sharing their birthday wishes with the 59-year-old.
"Queen of queens. Happy Birthday ??," wrote country singer Sunny Sweeney, who featured Yearwood on her 2017 song, "Pass The Pain."
"Happy Birthday Trisha! Have a blessed day ??????????," commented a fan. Another also shared an emoji-filled comment, writing, "???????????????????? Happy birthday ??????????."
That wasn't Brooks' only celebratory Instagram post.
In another one shared on the social media platform, the couple posed for a selfie, smiling for the camera. Yearwood held up a homemade double-chocolate cake adorned with chocolate chips and frosting, which appeared to be made by Brooks. The crooner captioned the snap, "All hail the Queen!!!!"
