Geauga County Retired Teachers Association sets date for Summer Potluck Get-Together

Jul. 9—The Geauga County Retired Teachers Association will meet for the Summer Potluck Get-Together at 11:15 a.m. Aug. 6 at the Bond Activity Center at Century Village, 14653 E. Park St. in Burton.

Attendees are asked to bring a dish to share as well as their own service and beverage. Pulled pork sandwiches will again be provided by Pat and Eileen Cataldo, according to a news release.

For the program, Education Grant winners will briefly explain how they used our funds in their classrooms. The 50/50 raffle will follow the program.

Those planning to attend are requested to notify Jean Paine at [email protected] or 440-823-4019 or Cheryl Sekura at [email protected] or 440-223-8711 by Aug. 1. Attendees can bring any retired or working teacher or other school personnel as a guest to the get-together.

Attendees also are reminded to bring paper products and canned goods for the local food banks, and to support the annual JFS "Help Me Learn Day," bring school supplies or send a check payable to Special Services of Geauga County to: Geauga Jobs and Family Services, 12480 Ravenwood Dr., Chardon, OH 44024.
