General Hospital Just Tied It All Together Regarding Jason’s Return
The pieces of where Jason’s been and why he’s back have slowly been coming together on General Hospital, and the March 26, 2024 episode finally tied some storylines together.
Not Just Jagger
It was previously revealed that the person Jason (Steve Burton) has been working for is Jagger, aka Agent Cates (Adam Harrington), as a mercenary. But during a conversation with Anna (Finola Hughes) at the police station, Jason dove into where he’s been in much more detail.
Jason disclosed to the police commissioner that he’s been working undercover as a part of Pikeman, the organization responsible for trying to take down Sonny (Maurice Benard), and now everything makes a lot more sense.
This detail confirms that it was Pikeman who was behind all three of Sonny’s attempted shootings, including the one that paralyzed Curtis (Donnell Turner).
Why Jason Didn’t Recognize Agent Cates
Jason and Jagger’s history was a recurring topic in this episode, starting with Anna mentioning their good old days in high school, to which Jason reminded her, “I can’t even remember anything from high school.”
This goes back to Jason’s car accident in the 90s, which resulted in brain damage that caused him to not remember his life as a Quartermaine and instead start a new life in the mob as Jason Morgan.
When Anna told Jason that Agent Cates was Stone’s older brother Jagger, he said he had no idea that’s who Agent Cates was. Meanwhile, in a conversation with Carly (Laura Wright) at Bobbie’s, Jagger revealed that he used to be friends with “Jason Quartermaine” until the two fell for the same girl. Cue the Karen mentions.
Do you think Jason’s Quartermaine days will play a bigger role in this storyline? Let us know in the comments.
