The Georgia Mall Featured in 'Stranger Things' Season 3 Is Now Up for Sale
For Stranger Things fans, this news may come as a bit of a shock. An iconic filming location for the Netflix series is going up on the market.
The Gwinnett Place Mall in Duluth, Georgia, which was used to create the Starcourt Mall in Season 3 of Stranger Things, is reportedly for sale. According to Complex, the mall's owners, Moonbeam Capital Partners, stated that it was time for the property to go on the market after years of decline and its complicated history.
Back in December 2017, a woman's body was found in the mall after going unnoticed for about two weeks. The body was discovered at an abandoned part of the Gwinnett Place's food court area during a routine check.
Stranger Things is no stranger to news circling the show, however. The series garners plenty of buzz year-round, even with popular items to add to your home, like pool accessories. As House Beautiful previously reported, you can even find a giant Demogorgon sprinkler, so don't be afraid to stock up now for next summer before they're gone. The six-foot-tall monster sprinkler sprays water out of its mouth and fits perfectly on any standard gardening hose. To use it, you only need to follow two simple steps: Inflate it and turn it on for a relaxing way to enjoy fun in the sun throughout warmer days, with your favorite show in mind.
The show has been renewed for another season, and until Stranger Things season 4 comes out, we'll be eagerly awaiting any other news and products we can get our hands on!
