Gerry Turner Reveals One Major Complaint About 'The Golden Bachelor'
Gerry Turner
Gerry Turner has delighted viewers across America as he’s searched for his perfect match on ABC’s The Golden Bachelor.
But he admitted to Parade that shooting the show wasn’t easy because it didn’t exactly mesh with his efficient personality.
The no-nonsense Midwesterner and former restaurateur from Indiana found that working in Hollywood was a lot different than running his business.
He confessed to Parade what bothered him most about filming the show when we chatted with him before the season began.
"I was constantly amazed at the process always running behind schedule and really that was something that everyone else was used to, and I was not,” he said.
He added about his reaction to that, “It’s like, let’s keep the train running on time and that was something that caused more anxiety for me than satisfaction.”

Told he'd been trending on social media, Gerry responded, "If I knew what that meant, I'm sure I'd appreciate it a whole lot more" to audience laughter.
He’s also sighed to Parade about the 22 women over 60 who competed for him, “I’m on this journey and I get to make the choices. I get to be the guy that no matter what, stands at the end. They didn’t get that benefit. It’s so unfair.”
But Gerry did have to endure the ups and downs to find the love of his life, and he has told Parade, while remaining tight-lipped about finale details, “The journey was successful.”
Find out if Gerry picks Leslie or Theresa on The Golden Bachelor finale and “After The Final Rose” from 8 to 10:04 p.m. Thursday night on ABC.
