Gigi Hadid Gives a Lesson in Layering in a Colorful Sweater and Maxi Skirt
Though the weather is getting wintry, Gigi Hadid is still embracing fall vibes in her layered street style.
The model paid a visit to the Soho pop-up for her cashmere brand Guest in Residence yesterday, where she wore a cozy and functional look with a pop of color. Her outfit included a cool black leather jacket with forest-green lining, which she layered over a geometric yellow, pink, and gray knit sweater and a black denim maxi skirt cinched with a black belt.
She finished the look with a pair of knee high boots in a reddish-tan hue by Schutz, as well as accessories including baby blue hoop earrings, gold necklaces, an array of rings, and a pair of black sunglasses with orange lenses.
Hadid has incorporated her line of cashmere separates into several of her street style looks since the brand's launch, from casual cardigans to classic coats. She also put her own spin on the classic après-ski outfit during a visit to the pop-up last month, wearing a steel gray knit set composed of a sweater with an attached hoodie and matching leggings.
She framed the set with a black button-up vest and a matching full-length leather coat, finishing the look with square-toe heeled black booties and a festive gray-and-red plaid handbag.
Hadid previously talked to BAZAAR.com about her goal to emphasize comfort in her personal style.
"My goal in life is to look as chic or put together as possible while always being comfortable," she said. "I very rarely, even on red carpets, will wear things that I feel uncomfortable in throughout the event because I just feel like I can't be myself as much when I'm thinking about what I'm wearing in that way."
