For Stuart Weitzman’s latest ad campaign, Gigi Hadid is rocking over-the-knee boots, a draped coat, a black top, and a chic pixie-cut wig. But if you peek quickly enough, it looks like it could be her own crowning glory.
“Gigi takes on a whole new look, capped in a fabulous Shay Ashual wig that obscures her famed tousled golden locks and will have people asking: did she or didn’t she?” the brand noted in a press release. The supermodel’s stylish faux pixie, inspired by Jean Seberg’s character in the 1960 French movie classic Breathless, puts a chic and modern twist on her fourth consecutive Stuart Weitzman campaign.
While it’s hard focus on the boots that Weitzman is promoting because of Hadid’s fabulous faux ’do, this isn’t the first time the 22-year-old has flaunted hair that wasn’t her own. One of her most talked-about fake-outs was at the 2015 American Music Awards, where we all thought she had chopped off her hair into a bob, but it actually turned out to be a wig.
