Girl And Antihero Ventured Out For Their Second Beauty And The Beast Trip 14 Years Ago Today (Watch)

The Beauty and the Beast trips (and videos) were seriously like nothing else at the time. The whole hesh versus fresh vibe still definitely existed at the time (maybe it still does on the hollow grounds of a lonely prefabricated skatepark somewhere in the Midwest), but in a more watered down version compared to, say, a decade prior.

Still, getting two of the greatest teams together—each with riders who crossed plenty of paths beyond their board brands at the time—and simply hitting the road to rip, demo and camp for an extended amount of time wasn't only the greatest idea ever, but a truly game-changing moment in time.

To celebrate the anniversary, the Crailtap YouTube just uploaded Beauty and the Beast 2 today, and in all honesty, I hadn't watched it in over ten years. But the second I pressed play, I was rushed back to a moment in time that meant so much to me but has unfortunately since been washed over amongst the wear and tear of daily routine and the blunder of social media clips.
