Glen Powell Teases What To Expect From New Film Twisters
One of the year's most anticipated films is Lee Isaac Chung's Twisters, and Glen Powell has teased a little bit about what to expect.
An update to the two-time Oscar-nominated 1996 film from Jan de Bont, Twisters follows a pair of storm chasers who risk their lives in an attempt to test an experimental weather alert system.
Powell will star as the charming and reckless social-media superstar Tyler Owens and informed Variety on the red carpet at this year's SAG Awards that "The movie's gonna be spectacular".

"It's nuts," Powell said.
"We're out in the middle of Oklahoma with big jet engines and wind machines and destroying towns," he said, jokingly adding, "Every farm animal's flying overhead. It's wild".
Powell informed Variety that Twisters has "Spielberg's and Chris Nolan's visual effects and special effects team" and "We have the best of the best in terms of department heads on this thing".
Twisters is expected to be this year's fun summer blockbuster and will storm into theaters on July 19.
