SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego County is home to a number of neighborhoods and cities that exude relaxation and beauty because of the weather, environment and unique architecture.

But when it comes to exercising, which areas are walkable?

FOX 5/KUSI compiled a list where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of beautiful neighborhoods while on that daily stroll:

Mission Hills
Located in the hills above Old Town, Mission Hills provides views of the San Diego Bay and San Diego International Airport. It also has homes dating back to the early 20th century.

Coronado
Although it is a city, Coronado feels more like a neighborhood with its modern-style homes, ocean views and plethora of activities — from restaurants to visiting the historic Hotel del Coronado.

Old Poway
Looking for some country vibes? This East County neighborhood consists of restaurants, homes and a park with a stream train that runs around it.

Bird Rock
The coastal neighborhood, located within the large community of La Jolla, features lavish homes and a main strip of stores and restaurants.
