A Golden Tire Causes Mayhem! 'Claim to Fame' Episode 4 Elimination
Claim to Fame is back for Season 2, and we've seen four contestants jettisoned from the game already. The reality competition show invites 12 contestants to live in a Hollywood mansion, each with an A-list celebrity relative that they must keep secret. Each week one nepo-baby gets their 'claim to fame' revealed and is shipped home. Whoever can keep their famous relative under wraps for the longest wins the prize money.

During Episode 4, our remaining 9 players competed in a blindfold challenge, but by the end only 8 remained. Here's everything that happened on Episode 2 of Claim to Fame Season 2?
Who was eliminated during Episode 4 on Claim to Fame Season 2?
Shayne
We've known for weeks that Shayne was most likely Eddie Murphy's daughter after Travis pulled her clue in Episode 1 and Jane identified the connections to Coming to America and Saturday Night Live. However, she'd insulated herself well within an alliance and last week's immunity provided some cover. This week, her side of the house had set their sights on Karsyn, but when Cole and Hugo, the swing votes, ended up in the bottom two, everything seemed up in the air. Ultimately Cole ended up as the guesser and despite having flirted with Shayne constantly, he correctly guessed her to be Eddie Murphy's daughter and sent her home because he was less certain of Karsyn's identity.

Who is Shayne's Claim to Fame celebrity relative?
Eddie Murphy
Shayne aka Shayne Murphy is the daughter of Eddie Murphy. She is one of the five children he had with Nicole Mitchell. Most of the cast had been convinced that Shayne was related to Eddie Murphy from early on in the season, and she had adapted her strategy to accommodate the fact they were right. Without any other sure bets, Cole ultimately decided to guess Shayne this week, eliminating the easiest guess in the house.

What did the golden statue clues from Episode 4 mean?
This week's challenge saw the remaining contestants blindfolded an attempting to identify the twelve giant gold statues in the back yard based only on touch. Each of the statues is a clue to one of the contestant's identity, so let's use some process of elimination to determine whose statue is whose.
Here are the twelve statues and who I think they belong to. Let's start with three of the eliminated players.
1. A shrimp - Carly. We know she's related to Tom Hanks who was in Forrest Gump, which featured Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. She'd likely have had another meltdown had she still been around for this challenge.
2. A planet - Travis. Obviously a reference to his relative, Neil deGrasse Tyson.
3. A dragon - Shayne. I think this is a reference to Eddie Murphy's role as Mushu the dragon in Mulan.
Several of the players also let us know which clue related to them.
4. A hamburger - Gabriel. He was worried that the others would connect the dots between the burger and his relatives time on Nickelodeon with reference to the film Good Burger.
5. A tire - Karsyn. With the racecar driver connection, it was obvious to everyone that this was her clue, although the specific driver remains to be seen.
6. A piece of cheese - Cole. While we really don't know much about Cole's relative, he tells us that he believes the cheese is his clue.
A few more connections based on who I think the contestants famous relatives are.
7. An eagle - Hugo. If my hunches about Hugo being related to Jimmy Carter are correct, the eagle could be a reference to a part of America's iconography.
8. A butterfly - JR. I think that JR is related to Lil Nas X, so this clue could fit for him as there are butterflies on his album cover.
9. A flamingo - Chris. When I did a quick google for Donny Osmund, I found that he performed at a venue called The Flamingo for years, so this seems to be a clue for him.
That leaves a sheep, a Greek statue, and a set of horns. One of these three is connected to Jane/Dolly Parton somehow (perhaps the sheep because of the cloned sheep named Dolly?). That leaves the other two for Monay and Olivia. Since I don't have much of a lead as to their relatives, this isn't particularly helpful, but could work to confirm hunches later on.

Chris
Cole
Gabriel
