Gordon Ramsay’s Attempt to Make Grilled Cheese on a Car Engine Leaves Fans Perplexed
When it comes to cooking, Gordon Ramsay is an obvious pro, but the chef is showing just how creative he can get when it comes to preparing meals.
The Hell's Kitchen star took to Instagram on Sunday, August 13, with a new video, where he promised to give fans "a grilled cheese like no other."
"Last time I made a grilled cheese was in Tasmania, and you guys absolutely pummeled me," he opened the clip, looking back on a former video where internet users were unimpressed with his sandwich-making skills. "I took it on the chin, I got thick skin," he jokingly added.
After giving a bit of backstory as to why he felt he needed to try again, he set the scene for what was to come from this go-round.
"So I'd like to redeem myself and give you a grilled cheese like no other, but this time I have an oven that is slightly more powerful. It comes in the shape of something unique," he teased, before adding, "I think it's the sexiest oven you've ever seen in your entire life."
By "slightly" more powerful, he actually meant extremely more powerful, walking up to a V12 1200 horsepower engine Aston Martin.
"I'm gonna show you how to grill cheese like no freaking other!" the restauranteur exclaimed.

The 56-year-old then slapped several slices of cheese between two pieces of toast, pressed it all together, and wrapped it tightly in aluminum foil. After popping the hood on the blue ombre-colored race car, Ramsay placed the sandwich directly on the engine, promptly closing the compartment.
"Buckle up," he warned, as he jumped into the driver's seat and zoomed off.
Upon his return from the racetrack, the chef went to unwrap the sandwich to reveal the results, but just as he was doing so, the video cut off.
Talk about a cliffhanger ending.
"Sunday Funday at the track making a Grilled Cheese that actually melts ! Thx for the oven @astonmartin ??," he trolled in the caption of the post.
Needless to say, fans in the comment section were just as disappointed as we were, along with utterly perplexed, as people seemed to be genuinely invested in finding out if the engine actually cooked and effectively melted the grilled cheese sandwich or not.
"Cool result. I’ll just imagine it," one joked, as another wrote, "Come on @gordongram, you of all people know you can’t not show tasting the final product. I’ll patiently wait for part III sir. ??"
"Hey wait a minute, we didnt get to see what it looked like. Did it come out wrong lol ??," a third wondered, while a fourth theorized, "Pretty sure the lack of ending was just a Gordan trolling us all."

"I like the part where he shows the melted cheese," someone else sarcastically said.
Another person doubled down on the missing piece of footage, inquiring, "Didn’t show the results… what you hiding ??"
"We humbled your grilled cheese expertise so you flex on us, fair play," yet another noticed.
Well... still waiting on a response from Gordon, but for now, it looks like we'll never know if a car's engine can actually grill a grilled cheese (not that we should try it on our own anyway)!
