The ice cream aisle at the grocery store is packed with a plethora of flavors, but none are quite like the pints by Marco Sweets & Spices.
The gourmet ice cream brand launched on July 13 with five unique (and spicy) flavors sold exclusively online to be delivered to your door. The flavors are inspired by world travel and include Aztec Chocolate, Ginger Dreamsicle, Spicy PB Caramel, Thai Coco-Lime and Vanilla Chai.
“Marco ice cream celebrates bold and nuanced flavors from around the world, transporting them from plate to pint,” its website reads.
Aztec chocolate kicks up the classic ice cream flavor with a dash of spice from cinnamon and chilies. Ginger Dreamsicle mixes orange (like an orange creamsicle, hence the name) with ginger and a hint of cardamom. Spicy PB Caramel is both spicy and sweet, combining the flavors of peanut butter, caramel Aleppo pepper and chile de árbol. Thai Coco-Lime also packs a punch, blending creamy coconut, lime and dried chili. And finally, Vanilla Chai is like a chai tea latte, but even better: It mixes cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and clove with vanilla.
Each flavor is sold by the pint in a case of four of five; you can build your own case with one flavor or try a mix of them all. It costs $50 for four pints and $55 for five pints, plus shipping. Additionally, 1 percent of sales are donated to the One Acre Fund, a nonprofit that helps small farmers in East Africa.
Build A Case Of Marco’s Ice Cream Pints, $50+
Unfortunately, Marco’s ice cream pints don’t ship everywhere. Right now, they’re produced in and ship from Atlanta, Georgia to most states in the Midwest and Eastern part of the U.S. (you can check if it ships to you here) due to its packaging abilities.
And of course, when you buy anything online there’s the risk of shipping and not being able to try before you buy. However, if you aren’t totally happy with your order, you can email the team at Marco for a refund within 14 days.
Nonetheless, we think you’ll be extremely happy as you transport your tastebuds from your couch to Thailand or Mexico, by way of delicious gourmet ice cream.
