Grab free ice cream on the circle this week. What to know

Ice cream lovers might want to head to Monument Circle Wednesday afternoon.

That's where they'll be able to get free ice cream bars. Hudsonville Ice Cream is away its Super Scoop bars on the circle from 2 to 3 p.m.

The bars are made with swirls of black cherry, Blue Moon and vanilla ice cream, a Michigan favorite combination commonly called Superman.

Look for folks wearing yellow tie-dye shirts handing out the treats from the Holland, Michigan-based manufacturer.
