‘Green Book’ Walks Away with Best Original Screenplay at the 2019 Oscar Awards

Tonight, Hollywood’s elite gathered at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles for the 91st annual Academy Awards. During the ceremony, Green Book took home the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

The film was up against The Favourite, First Reformed, Roma and Vice.

While Woody Allen currently holds the record for most wins (three) in the Best Original Screenplay category, previous winners include Get Out, Manchester by the Sea, Spotlight, Birdman, Her, Django Unchained and Midnight in Paris.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how it’s done.
