It's been nearly five years since Nicolas Ghesquière took the reins at Louis Vuitton, and while he's been doing a stellar job since his debut collection in 2014, we can't help but reminisce about his tenure at Balenciaga. (The designer spent a total of 15 — 15! — years at the French house.)

Luckily, Greta Lee supplied us with a much-needed throwback on Wednesday night at the premiere of her new Netflix show "Russian Doll" in New York City. Styled by Danielle Nachmani, the actress wore a cap-sleeve dress from Ghesquière's floral-heavy Spring 2008 collection for Balenciaga. To complement the dress's short length, Lee paired her look with ultra-thigh-high suede boots from Christian Louboutin. For beauty, she kept things super sleek: a pin-straight bob with a deep side part and a dark berry statement lip.

While most red carpet outfits usually spotlight the newest, latest designs — sometimes literally straight from a very recent runway appearance — it's refreshing to see Lee's choice to showcase a more vintage ensemble. Now excuse us while we scour The Real Real for some 2008-era Balenciaga pieces.
