Grimes Reveals She and Elon Musk Secretly Welcomed a Baby Girl, Nicknamed “Y”
Grimes and Elon Musk have welcomed their second child together! In a new Vanity Fair cover story, Grimes unexpectedly revealed that the pair have a daughter when she began crying upstairs during the interview. When asked if she had another “baby in her life,” Grimes initially tried to move away from the question, saying, “I’m not at liberty to speak on these things. Whatever is going on with family stuff, I just feel like kids need to stay out of it, and X is just out there. I mean, I think E is really seeing him as a protégé and bringing him to everything and stuff.…X is out there. His situation is like that. But, yeah, I don’t know.”
Apparently, Grimes eventually confirmed that she and Elon had welcomed a child via surrogate and laughed about trying to keep the news a secret, saying, “I don’t know. I don’t know what I was thinking.”
Their daughter’s name, you ask? Y. Although that’s just a nickname, and Grimes didn’t reveal her full during the interview. She did, however, confirm that she and Elon are together-ish, saying, “There’s no real word for it. I would probably refer to him as my boyfriend, but we’re very fluid. We live in separate houses. We’re best friends. We see each other all the time….We just have our own thing going on, and I don’t expect other people to understand it.”
Grimes also said that the couple plan to have more kids, noting, “We’ve always wanted at least three or four.”
