Groom misses his 'I do' cue after being arrested for punching man photobombing the bridal party
A Florida man didn’t get to say “I do” on his wedding day, as he ended up spending the would-be magical evening in jail for allegedly breaking the nose of a man who refused to move out of the way of his bridal party’s beachfront wedding pictures.
Jeffery Alvord, 27, of Boynton Beach, Fla. was arrested on Sunday after the brawl in Palm Beach County, WFLA reports.

The outlet reports that Alvord was on the beach getting ready for his wedding when the alleged victim, 24-year-old Trevor Mooney sat in front of the wedding party, which blocked the camera’s view.
Alvord reportedly offered Mooney money to move.
As Alvord’s groomsmen tried to convince Mooney to move so the bridal party could take their photos, Mooney allegedly stood up in an aggressive manner, Alvord told police. Feeling threatened, he punched Mooney in the face and was then separated by wedding guests.
According to Mooney’s written statement, he had been sitting on the beach for hours when three men asked him to move. The statement went on to read, “They said they would give me $10 to move. I said $20. The long-haired guy in the tan suit became irate. Someone grabbed me and held me while the guy with the long hair in a bun struck me in the face three times in a row. Someone grabbed my belongings and threw them across the beach.”
Mooney plans to press charges against Alvord, who faces charges of aggravated battery and criminal mischief causing property damage. Alvord’s attorney, Steven Cohen, told the Palm Beach Post that the incident “did not play out” the way Mooney reported.
Alvord eventually did marry his bride, after he was released on bond on Monday.
