All the Grumpy Kids at the Royal Wedding
While weddings are usually happy occasions, there's one type of guest that doesn't always appreciate sitting through romantic nuptials, and that's kids.
It's worth noting that the children at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding yesterday were extremely well behaved, even if Prince George was caught chatting during the ceremony. But despite their good behavior, it was obvious that there were moments in which a child was bored, sleepy, or just ready to leave the wedding of the year.
So, how did the grumpy kids at Harry and Meghan's wedding compare to those attending Kate Middleton and Prince William's special day back in 2011?
1) Kate and William's children were in Harry and Meghan's wedding party.
One of the most adorable aspect of Meghan and Harry's royal wedding was the inclusion of Kate and William's children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, in the bridal party. Seven years on from their own wedding, Kate and William got to see their little ones walking down the aisle in support of Meghan and Harry's wedding, which is adorable.
2) Princess Charlotte stuck her tongue out at Prince Harry's wedding, while Grace von Cutsem went viral for her pose at Prince William's.
While one of Princess Charlotte's most memorable moments at Harry and Meghan's wedding, in which she stuck her tongue out, got her compared to her uncle, it wasn't as infamous as the behavior of one of William and Kate's flower girls.
Grace von Cutsem famously looked extremely fed up during Kate Middleton and Prince William's balcony kiss, and as a result, became an instant meme.
3) Prince George was caught chatting at his uncle's nuptials, while Kate and William's page boy, Tom Pettifer, worked the camera.
As Prince Harry's nephew, Prince George probably felt quite confident about his place in the royal wedding, and it showed. The cute royal was spotted chatting away to a fellow page boy at Meghan and Harry's wedding, seemingly without a care in the world.
Conversely, Kate and William had two page boys at their wedding, one of whom couldn't stop smiling at the camera. But Prince William's godson, Tom Pettifer, didn't seem to get into nearly as much trouble as Prince George.
4) Prince George looked pretty moody after the ceremony.
This face, though:
5) He also wasn't impressed that his sister stole the limelight.
Prince George looked unimpressed with his sister, Princess Charlotte, as she waved to the adoring crowds. Basically, that's usually his job, so she's stepping on his toes, somewhat.
6) Page boys John and Brian Mulroney brought the most.
From their excited expressions, to their genuine delight at being Meghan's page boys, John and Brian Mulroney stole the show at the royal wedding. As the sons of Meghan's best friend, Jessica Mulroney, they know the bride well.
The page boys at Kate and William's were much more sedate, and hid any excitement they were feeling well.
7) James, Viscount Severn, didn't seem that into it.
The son of Prince Edward and Sophie the Earl and Countess of Wessex had an unforgettable expression having arrived at Harry and Meghan's royal wedding:
