The 74th annual installment of the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2022 will pay tribute to the best of the best in TV with major awards broken down by comedy and drama.
The 2022 Emmy nominations were announced via livestream on July 12.
Selena Gomez became the second Latina since Salma Hayek in 2007 to be nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series as a producer on Only Murders in the Building. Zendaya and Squid Game shattered records as the actress is the youngest producing nominee and the South Korean series is the first non-English language series to be Emmy nominated for Outstanding Drama. There are also three posthumous Emmy nominations for Chadwick Boseman, Norm Macdonald, and Jessica Walter.
