Your guide to corn mazes in Westchester, Rockland and the Hudson Valley
Corn mazes abound in the Hudson Valley, some close by in Westchester and others worth the road trip.
Some are open on weekends; others, daily. Many of the paths carved through a cornfield form whimsical images, if seen from above.

Corn mazes in Westchester County
Stuart's Fruit Farm, in Yorktown's Granite Springs hamlet, is 200 acres that have been family run since since 1828. Its corn maze is open on weekends, 10 or 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 914-245-2784 or go to stuartsfarm.com to learn more. 62 Granite Springs Road.
Wilkens Fruit and Fir Farm first had a maze in 2016 to celebrate the farm's 100th anniversary. "It continues to be such a hit we bring it back each year with a new and updated design," the farm's website said. Outhouse Orchards has begun its fall festival, which includes a corn maze. The maze is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day, and is $10 a person. If coming on a weekend, you need to buy an admission ticket. If arriving during the week, you only need to buy the admission ticket if you also want to do the hay ride and various activities; if just coming to do the maze on a weekday, you can pay the $10 at the register. Corn mazes in Rockland County

Orange County corn mazes

Pierson's Farm is owned by a seventh-generation family and has a maze, as well as a fall festival slated for Sept. 21 to Nov. 3. There's a bird's-eye view of this year's maze (and overheads of mazes past) on the farm's website. The farm is open noon to 5 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends. Twin Ponds on the Farm has a seven-acre maze. There's a maze map on its website. September hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends; October hours are Fridays, 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Individual tickets are $17 that cover the corn maze, hay pyramid, duck racing, barnyard animals, corn hole, a game room, climbing wall, playground, tractor pull, nine-hole disc golf course, fishing, and more. Corn mazes in Dutchess County
Fishkill Farms has corn maze-for-a-cause on weekends and holidays. Opening day is to be announced, according to the farm's website, but mid-September is predicted. Tickets are $5 a person and can be bought at the maze entrance on weekends and at the farm's welcome shed on weekdays. The one-acre maze is in the orchard, so pick-your-own-apple reservations are required for access. Thirty percent of each maze ticket goes to a different local charity every week, the website says. Kesicke Farm has operated since 1944 and its fall festival opens on weekends from Sept. 21 to Oct. 27 that includes the maze. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There are ticket prices for various activities, including $8 for the corn maze. The farm itself is open seven days a week.
