Gun activist Kaitlin Bennett has a post-engagement message to haters: 'The Left is so sick'
Kaitlin Bennett typically reserves her social media feed for messages about politics and gun laws. But while sharing some happy news this week about her recent engagement, the gun rights activist included a message for those who had a less-than-gracious response.
A special post to the haters who had something nasty to say about my engagement 😎
It must suck to see the people you hate be happier than you. Can't relate 🤷🏼?♀? pic.twitter.com/sdmj4bhofa

“It must suck to see the people you hate be happier than you,” Bennett tweeted, alongside photos of her engagement ring and her new fiancé. “Can’t relate.”
According to a prior post, Bennett — who is known for her Kent State graduation photos featuring an AR-10 rifle — got engaged last week, but decided not to share any photos out of fear that people would ruin her happy moment with attacks. Bennett claimed that her fiancé had already posted photos of the event and received an influx of hateful comments.
Yes I got engaged this week. I didn't tweet photos bc I figured libs would attack me for finding happiness. My fiancé tweeted a pic & thousands of leftists did exactly that to him. The left is so sick they can't let a happy couple enjoy their engagement if they think differently.

Still, the polarizing conservative figure received many of the comments she figured she would, including those that said she couldn’t play victim with a track record of aggressive posts against those who disagree with her views.
You cannot fan the flames, and then get mad when your house catches on fire.

sis i’m glad you’re happy but don’t you attack people ALL THE TIME for thinking differently …

Kinda how you would probably attack a same sex couple for getting engaged and finding happiness??
