Guy Fieri Dishes on Son Hunter's Engagement

Guy Fieri's son Hunter is officially engaged!
The Food Network star confirmed Flavortown is getting another permanent resident as his eldest son recently popped the question to his girlfriend—and she said yes!
According to a recent social media post from the celebrity chef, his 27-year-old son and now-fiancée Tara Bernstein appeared to get engaged this past holiday weekend. The whole family seemed to be pretty grateful for the news.
"Congrats to @hunterfieri and @taralynn.nyc," the 55-year-old media personality's message began. "You two are made for each other."
The doting father's sweet statement concluded with a warm welcome, "Welcome to the family, Tara."
The newly-engaged couple also confirmed the news in a joint Instagram post shared online. "Coming soon…Mr. & Mrs.Fieri ?? #blessed," they captioned the Nov. 24 set of snaps.
The Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives host has previously publicized his support for Hunter and Tara's relationship, even calling it "a big deal."
While at the annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Colo., in June, Fieri spoke with People and revealed his opinion of the relationship. Speaking of Bernstein, he said, "[She has] good values and is just a really great person so I couldn't be happier for Hunter."
"She's a pickleball machine," he added. "She plays one-against-two and beats everybody."
"This is a big deal. To see him this happy and also to see him have a partner that is as driven as he is, it's perfect," he concluded at the time.
Hunter is Fieri and his wife Lori's eldest son, but they also share a 17-year-old named Ryder, who looked to be in a very happy relationship with his prom date in August. In addition to their two sons, Fieri and Lori also raised their 22-year-old nephew, Jules, after Fieri's sister, Morgan, passed away from melanoma in 2011.
