Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are finally done making fans wait for their new music together—and their sweet new love song is even dreamier than we hoped.
After teasing the new single earlier this month, the two musicians dropped their duet "Purple Irises" on Friday, Feb. 9, along with a loved-up promo video on Instagram chock-full of PDA.
Stefani, 54, and Shelton, 46—who have been married since 2021—were all over each other in the romantic footage, with the No Doubt alum sitting on Shelton's lap at one point while the country crooner gazed lovingly into her eyes.
In the song, the two lovebirds harmonize while singing the lyrics, "Wonder why you took a risk on a broken heart you cannot fix / No, I never knew a love like this / Now we're picking purple irises."
The new track seems to be the perfect ode to the couple's love story, as they are now settled down and are often found literally picking flowers and doing other yard work together on Shelton's ranch in Oklahoma.
"it's hereeee !!! ???? Purple Irises is out NOW !!??" Stefani captioned her Instagram post on Friday. "Creating this song was magic + we hope u love it as much as we do :)"
She also teased the song's official lyric video, which is expected to drop next week on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14.
Shelton promoted the new song on his social media pages, too, sharing in a tidbit about making the track to his Instagram Story on Friday.
"My pretty girl wrote this incredible song with a couple of friends of hers and I'm proud to have been asked to come in and be part of it," the "Sangria" singer wrote. "I loved this song the first time I heard it."
"'Purple Irises' with @gwenstefani is streaming everywhere now!!!!!!" he added.
