Gwyneth Paltrow shares mysterious family photo with Chris Martin and their kids
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin may have broken up back in 2014, but the end of their marriage didn’t mean the end of their friendship.
Nearly four years after Paltrow announced that the pair was “consciously uncoupling” on her website Goop, and two years after their divorce was finalized, the 45-year-old actress has taken to Instagram to share a photo of their modern family. Alongside 41-year-old Martin, and the couple’s two children Moses, 11 and Apple, 13, Paltrow is seen smiling as bright as ever on the front porch of a house in London.

All the caption reads is, “#42,” as they are slumped in front of a house marked with that number. Some believe that it might be the couple’s old home together, while others are suggesting a more likely tie to Coldplay’s hit song titled ’42,’ which could be an ode to their abode too. Either way, fans are ecstatic to see the family together.
“What a beautiful example of what divorce should look like for the kids,” one person commented. Another shared how they were raised within a similar family dynamic, writing, “I’m from a ‘divorced’ family (my parents have never liked that word, and we’ve always called it a ‘non marriage’), and it’s amazing how seeing that your parents like and love each other, even if it’s not romantically, just keeps the sense of stability and family you’ve always had.”
The sentiment echoes what the pair has said about the separation themselves, ensuring that they made their decision with utmost consideration of how it would impact their children. In 2016, Paltrow spoke to InStyle about how her relationship with Martin was evolving, saying, “We have our own lives but we still have our family life.” A notion which still stands as Paltrow is engaged to longtime boyfriend Brad Falchuk, and Martin is reportedly dating actress Dakota Johnson.
Happy birthday my brother. Thank you for giving me these two.

Most recently, Paltrow opened up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, telling him that Martin is “really like my brother. We’re very familial. It’s really nice. It’s great.” From the looks of the photo, their familial relationship seems to be working.
